How Sessions Typically Work
Relocation discussions work best when the practical picture — schools, distances, costs, calendars — is laid out clearly. The mediator structures that conversation; the parties decide what, if anything, they agree to.
Relocation in Florida is statute-governed: a move beyond the statutory distance generally requires notice and either the other parent's consent or court permission before it happens. Those requirements belong to counsel and the existing order — the session is for building the new arrangement that accounts for them.

Mediation is voluntary and only works when both people can speak for themselves and the conversation can stay balanced.
